Our Founder
Shresht Vishnoi, the founder of Project Butterfly, has always been driven by a deep sense of social responsibility and a desire to create positive, lasting change. Growing up, Shresht was inspired by the concept of Aristocracy of Service, a belief in the duty of the privileged to uplift those in need. This guiding principle became the cornerstone of his personal philosophy, motivating him to seek innovative solutions to the socio-economic challenges he observed around him.
Throughout his academic journey, Shresht developed a keen understanding of the multifaceted issues facing underprivileged communities in India. His studies revealed the interconnected nature of financial illiteracy, environmental degradation, and hunger, prompting him to launch Project Butterfly. Shresht’s vision extends beyond temporary relief efforts—he is committed to creating sustainable, scalable programs that equip individuals with the tools they need to improve their lives in the long term.
Shresht’s leadership is characterized by his unwavering commitment to the values of empathy, education, and service. Under his guidance, Project Butterfly has grown from a small local initiative into a nationwide movement that continues to expand its reach and impact. Shresht believes that real change begins at the grassroots level, and through his work with Project Butterfly, he aims to inspire a new generation of socially conscious leaders who are dedicated to building a more equitable world.
