About Project Butterfly
Project Butterfly is a transformative initiative dedicated to solving key socio-economic challenges in India—financial illiteracy, inefficient waste management, and hunger. Our mission is to empower underprivileged communities by creating opportunities for financial independence, promoting sustainable practices, and ensuring access to essential resources. Inspired by the Aristocracy of Service, Project Butterfly focuses on utilizing under-utilized resources and fostering community collaboration to bring lasting and impactful change.
Our programs are designed to address these challenges through a combination of education, resource redistribution, and community mobilization. With a dedicated team of volunteers, we aim to create a ripple effect of sustainable development across India.
How It Started
Project Butterfly was born out of a deep understanding of the systemic issues that plague India's marginalized communities. During his educational journey, Shresht Vishnoi realized that financial illiteracy, poor waste management, and hunger were not isolated problems but interconnected challenges that could be tackled through a holistic approach.
With the help of his peers and fellow students, Shresht began developing programs aimed at addressing these challenges head-on. What started as a small-scale initiative quickly gained momentum, growing into a larger network of volunteers and expanding its reach across multiple regions in India. Today, Project Butterfly is a testament to the power of collective action in solving the foundational issues faced by the underprivileged.
